The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
